How Sort My Photos came to be
My journey began when I was a primary school teacher, having to keep a classroom organised, as well as 25 other little people! Then when I became a mum, I fell into the role of photographer and keeper of our family’s memories. With my limited computer skills at the time, I decided to take an online course to learn how to organise and safeguard my photos. I had spent hours creating beautiful photo albums but they were taking a lot of space in our home. So keeping all of my photos in digital format was the only solution as I didn’t want to risk losing any!
Little did I know that this process would evolve into the creation of Sort My Photos — a service I now offer to clients! And this little business is growing rapidly through word of mouth.
Sort My Photos combines my two passions - my love of preserving precious memories and the other of organising.
A little about me
I was raised and educated in Sydney, NSW Australia, and earned a degree in primary education.
As newlyweds, my husband and I moved interstate to a little rural country town in Victoria where we started our little family. Three years later, we moved back to New South Wales and I now live on the South Coast with my husband, our two children and our two fur babies.
During the day I enjoy working from home, helping people sort their photos, taking breaks to walk our dog, driving our children to and from school and supporting them in their extra-curricular activities.
In the evenings you will find me at my desk creating something crafty or in bed reading a book, always with a cup of tea!
